Gym log · coach desk

Write the program. See who actually trained.

Plate Forge is the log you use between sets — and the roster you use when you train more than one person. Keep clients on your phone, or send the week to theirs.

A short walkthrough of the gym log, the roster, and how a coach writes the week.

Built for the people you train

Same app as your own gym log. No separate coach login. Add training accounts on one phone, or send an invite when they train on theirs.

The whole floor on one phone

Switch All / Me / Paul. Color dots on the month so you know who is on the bar today. Move a session to today when the plan slipped, without rewriting the week.

Send the week, get the session back

Invite with a code, a link, or a QR. You own the program; they log the work. Completed sessions sync back — not live per-rep on the bar. Creating invites is a Premium feature; they can join and train on the free app.

Cues on the lift

Put coach notes on the exercise so the cue is there when they hit the set — elbows in, pause on the chest — not buried in a chat thread.

How it works

Local accounts on your phone, or a linked mentee on theirs. Either way you write the work and see what got done.

  1. Add the person Create a training account on your phone, or send a coach invite.
  2. Write the week Sets, kilos, rest, and notes — the session they will run.
  3. They train. You see it. Open History and check what they actually did, not what was on the whiteboard.

Still the log you use on the floor

Training in a basement with no signal? Log the set anyway. The gym loop is the same whether you train yourself or write for someone else.

  • Plan Build the session — exercises, sets, rest — and keep it ready for today.
  • Log Big plus/minus for reps and weight. Tap Easy, Good, or Hard before the rest timer runs.
  • Track History, plates, and volume so you can see the work adding up.
